What’s Still Happening at Buc Days This Weekend (Final Weekend Guide)
Buc Days is wrapping up this weekend, but there is still a lot going on downtown if you are trying to get out of the house.
Between the carnival, rodeo, concerts, food, and random stuff happening around the grounds, this is basically the last big Buc Days push before everything wraps up tomorrow.
Tonight Is Championship Night
Tonight’s big event is Rodeo Corpus Christi Championship Night with Shane Smith & The Saints performing after the rodeo.
Even if rodeo is not normally your thing, the atmosphere alone is usually worth checking out during finals night.
The Carnival Is Still Running
The carnival is still going all weekend with rides, games, fried food, and honestly just a ton of people walking around downtown.
At night especially, the whole area around the water changes completely once the lights come on.
Shops, Food, and Random Buc Days Chaos
The Shops at Treasure Island are still open too, so if you like walking vendor booths and finding random stuff you probably do not need, that is still happening.
There is also BBQ on the Bay happening this weekend with live music and local BBQ spots set up around the grounds.
Honestly, Buc Days is one of those events where half the fun is just wandering around and seeing what you run into.
Final Weekend Energy
One thing about Buc Days every year is that the final weekend always feels different.
More people are out. Downtown feels alive longer. You get random conversations with strangers. Music coming from multiple directions. Kids running around with giant stuffed animals they definitely paid too much for.
Corpus feels different when people actually show up.
